The IT service provider Tebicom, based in Villars-sur-Glâne, has opened a branch in Geneva. This branch is headed by Philippe Morin.
Romand IT provider Tebicom announces the opening of a branch in Geneva. The Villars-sur-Glâne (Fribourg) based company emphasizes that its client base in the Geneva area is growing rapidly. Contacted by the editorial team, Christian Ruffieux, managing partner, specified that Tebicom currently supports around 60 clients in Geneva. These are primarily companies in the service sector: trading, private banking, and other administrations, as well as law firms and fiduciary companies.
Tebicom's new Geneva branch currently has about ten people. Recruitment is planned in the coming months, with the goal of doubling staff by the end of 2022, confides Christian Ruffieux. Active in the fields of IT infrastructure, cloud, «Modern Workplace,» and information management, Tebicom has 50 employees in its Villars-sur-Glâne offices and 15 in Gland.
To lead its Geneva branch, Tebicom has appointed Philippe Morin, formerly Commercial Manager of the Managed Services unit at Bechtle. He was previously Commercial Director at Abissa, an IT provider acquired by Bechtle in 2019. «We want to position Tebicom as a local player of excellence and a benchmark for companies in the Lake Geneva region,» states Philippe Morin.
