Unlock the full potential of the M-Files platform!

M-Files is developing so rapidly that it's becoming difficult to keep up and not miss any new features.

At Tebicom, we've decided to publish a regular newsletter for our tebi clients.files (powered by M-Files). This newsletter will keep you updated on the latest platform developments so you can make the most of your licenses.

In a second step, we will also integrate customer use cases and new features of our tebi solutionsfiles. Stay tuned 😉

New M-Files Desktop client

This time it's happening: the classic Windows client we all know is going to evolve. M-Files Desktop Next Generation (M-Files NextGen) is announced for early 2025.

This new Windows client will be based on the M-Files Web client and developed with much more modern technologies than the current client, opening up new possibilities for frontend extension development. The NextGen client will also offer other very interesting new features, including a configurable «home page» with widgets.

However, note that some important features are not (yet) present in this new client for now, especially detailed views. Fortunately, an ON/OFF button will allow you to switch from the old to the new client with one click (like with Microsoft).

The M-Files Web client continues to improve

Since the NextGen Desktop client is based on the M-Files Web client, now is a good time to take a closer look at it if you aren't already using it (it's included in all M-Files subscriptions).

Among the interesting new features are: improved quick search, visualization of changes in a document activity feed, access to compliance kit items from the context menu, and other things to test.
