COVID-19 Dispositions

Due to the lockdown measures taken to combat the spread of Coronavirus, all organizations are facing an exponential increase in remote access needs and have been forced to take action to enable the maximum number of their employees to telework.

Despite the urgency of these situations, opening up information systems must not compromise security. In this context, several of our suppliers have proposed solutions to address these exceptional situations by offering extended evaluation periods or significant discounts on their products as options.

We have chosen to only relay the most relevant proposals to you, limiting ourselves to a software-based approach (VMs) so as not to be dependent on potential delivery times and to facilitate their remote implementation.

As an example, here is the list of initiatives in question:

Pulse Secure

  • The PSA gateways represent the most comprehensive and mature remote access management solution (SSL VPN) on the market. We were able to negotiate substantial discounts on the virtual editions of the platform, with or without redundancy, all coupled with subscription-based licenses to support 10 to 2,000 users.

Altipeak :

  • The Safewalk mobile authentication solution enables the implementation of strong authentication logic for user remote access by supporting all the most modern authentication methods (e.g., Push Notification, Soft Token, SMS, QR Code, etc.). Altipeak offers the free provision of temporary 60-day licenses, regardless of the number of users. The solution is in the form of a virtual machine that easily integrates into your existing environment.

VMware

  • When it comes to End-User Workspace management, VMware offers a complete desktop virtualization (VDI) solution through its Horizon suite, as well as an endpoint management (EMM) platform through its Workspace ONE suite (formerly Airwatch). VMware is now offering extended 90-day, 100-user evaluations for each of these solutions, with the option to deploy them in the cloud to facilitate implementation. Additionally, monthly subscriptions without commitment are available for 50 users and up. Existing customers can also exceed their license limits without additional cost.

Riverbed

  • For customers who already have the SteelHead WAN optimization solution and wish to offer the same work experience to users who now need to work remotely, Riverbed offers temporary 90-day licenses for its Client Accelerator solution (formerly SteelHead Mobile). This solution consists of Windows or Mac OS clients to be deployed on workstations and managed from a centralized VM console (SteelHead Mobile Controller).

Microsoft:

  • The Teams solution brings together all of Microsoft's collaborative work functions in cloud mode within its Office 365 suite (telephony, IM, web conferencing, information or document sharing, etc.). Microsoft offers a 6-month trial period for the Teams suite.
    More information
  • The period is also conducive to team building, so we are offering online (Teams) training sessions on Microsoft Azure. There will be two sessions on the official Azure Fundamentals training (AZ-900 / 1 Day) and one session on the Azure Administrator training (AZ-104). Each of these training sessions will be led by a certified Microsoft trainer from tebicom's teams. And to avoid disrupting your operational activities, we have chosen to deliver these training sessions in half-day formats.

For each of these proposals, with the exception of VMware VDI and Microsoft training, we will be able to offer you fixed-price support, corresponding each time to half a day of services that can be deducted from your existing contracts.

We fully understand the urgency of the situations you face, and will process all your requests as quickly as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact our teams today for any requests related to these proposals...
